Bristol Rotary Club Makes Contribution To New Bristol Hospital Breast Health And Wellness Center

Bristol, CT (6/10/10) – The Bristol Rotary Club has presented a check for $3,000 to Bristol Hospital to help fund its new comprehensive breast care center. The check was presented by Bristol Rotary Club President Whit Betts to Eva Wickwire, Assistant Vice President/Chief Development Officer for the Bristol Hospital Development Foundation.
"One of the main goals of the Rotary Club of Bristol is to invest its resources into programs that will improve the quality of life for Bristol families” commented Bristol Rotary President Whit Betts. "Bristol Hospital obviously meets this criteria and that is why the Bristol Rotary Club has consistently made financial contributions to support the quality medical programs they provide. For this year - in recognition of Rotarian Jack Sand - our organization has made a $3,000 contribution to support Bristol Hospital's new Beekley Breast Health and Wellness Center. This investment meets our service goal of helping to ensure our local families and employees receive quality medical care in Bristol."
The Bristol Rotary Club has been extremely generous to Bristol Hospital over the years and has financially supported numerous projects including the ICU, the Perioperative Center, the Cancer Care Center and the Healing Garden campaigns, totaling close to $40,000 in support
