Bristol Hospital also offers educational programs like Families Are First, a pregnancy and childbirth program, as well as fitness and wellness programs such as HeartWorks, our cardiac rehabilitation program. In addition, the hospital provides InfoLink at Bristol Hospital, a service that can provide information on physician referral and class registration for our many programs.
To fulfill its mission to residents of the greater Bristol area, Bristol Hospital supports a variety of community outreach programs such as the Senior Wellness Program, held in conjunction with the Bristol Senior Center, providing important health screenings to the elderly; WIC (Women, Infants and Children), a food assistance program; and the Parent and Child Center at Bristol Hospital, which supports families by providing information, programs, and services that assists parents in raising healthy, happy children. The Center provides outreach programming through educational workshops and support groups for the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
