Emergency Center

Emergency Care - When Every Moment Counts

At Bristol Hospital, we are committed to providing our community with the finest in emergency care services. Our Emergency Center physicians are board certified in emergency medicine and every physician on our staff has trained at advanced tertiary care centers around the country, something not commonly found in communities this size.
Our emergency-trained physician assistants, nurses and technicians are experienced in treating those in need of emergency care and dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and compassionate care as efficiently as possible. Our emergency center staff also includes respiratory therapists, radiology technicians, physical therapists and other healthcare professionals who provide immediate, expert emergency care right here in our community. Bristol Hospital's Emergency Center can treat any patient with any emergency need at the same level as the best emergency treatment center anywhere.
Express Care Unit

The Bristol Hospital Express Care Unit allows non-critical patients to be evaluated separately and moves them through the Emergency Center more quickly. The addition of these four new treatment rooms is expected to reduce wait times for emergency room patients, especially those with less-serious problems. This expansion represents the first phase of a three-year initiative aimed at expanding and updating the Emergency Center, and, ultimately, constructing a completely new Center.

Bristol Hospital has partnered with Medical Emergency Professionals (MEP) providing compassionate and quality emergency care to patients of Bristol Hospital.  MEP has emerged as a leader and valued hospital partner by providing dynamic leadership and strategic focus to our Emergency Center.
