Douglas C. Wisch, MD

 
Dr. Douglas Wisch earned his medical degree at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ where he also completed residencies in general and orthopedic surgery, serving as chief resident and clinical assistant instructor. He completed fellowship training in hand/microsurgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
 
Dr. Wisch lectures and authors professional articles on topics related to hand surgery. He is an attending physician at Bristol Hospital and at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Conn., where he has served as chief of orthopedic service.
 
Dr. Wisch is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and is board certified in orthopedic and hand surgery.
