Since its founding in 1921, Bristol Hospital, a not for profit institution, has been the grateful beneficiary of community financial support. Your gifts have helped Bristol Hospital offer the latest in medical technology and healthcare services.
But progress is never ending, and, so too, is the need for support. Contributions to the Bristol Hospital Development Foundation are still the primary source of funds for new programs and medical equipment for the hospital. Every gift is truly an investment in the health of your community.
Lights of Love is the annual appeal dedicated to the Hospice of Bristol Hospital and the Special Touch palliative care program which is dedicated to offering hope and comfort to patients and families during one of the most challenging times in a person’s life. Lights of Love, our annual appeal, will begin soon.
The donations made to the Lights of Love campaign assure the patients and families of the Hospice of Bristol Hospital may receive the following assistance in their most vulnerable time:
♥ Community education programs about end-of-life experiences
♥ Bereavement support for grieving family members
♥ Social work services to all patients including the uninsured
♥ Complementary therapies that provide calming effect and increases physical comfort
♥ Financial assistance when essential needs are affected by illness or caregiving
♥ Meals for families, freeing them to be with their loved ones
