Bristol Hospital Wine And Spirit Event Nets More Than $50,000

BRISTOL, Conn.—The Bristol Hospital Development Foundation’s 15th Annual Festival of Wines and Spirits—which took place Saturday, March 23 at the ESPN North Campus—has raised more than $50,000. Proceeds from the event will be used to complete vital capital projects at the hospital.
Approximately 230 guests attended the event which featured dozens of domestic and imported wines, beers and spirits for guests to sample. This year’s event was presented by Radiologic Associates, PC; Medical Emergency Professionals, and ConnectCare Inc and Affiliates. The event was co-chaired by Christopher Leary, MD and John Walker, MD, of Radiologic Associates, PC, the presenting sponsor of the event.
Special thanks to Marvin Friedman of Maple End Package Store in Bristol for coordinating the wine and spirit tastings from top distributors that evening.
