Christopher Betz, DO; sport medicine 

Dr. Betz is board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Betz completed a fellowship from the University of Massachusetts in sports medicine that included an arthroscopic concentration in hips, shoulders and knees, and a joint replacement concentration in shoulders. He is active in our community and is the doctor for the New Britain Bees and Bristol Blues baseball teams.


Peter Bellezza, DPM, MS; podiatry

Dr. Bellezza is a foot and ankle surgeon with a special interest in general podiatry, foot and ankle reconstruction, total ankle replacement, and sports medicine. He completed a podiatric medicine and surgery residency from the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA, receiving accreditation in reconstructive rear foot surgery.


Peter D'Addario; MD

Dr. D’Addario is a board certified urologist with a special interest in stone disease and prostate cancer.  He completed a urology residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT, and a fellowship in urology from UConn Health Center.


Sana Idrees, MD; internal medicine

Dr. Idrees is an Internal Medicine physician and has a special interest in treating patients with metabolic and endocrine conditions. She practices with a focus on preventative medicine and management of chronic conditions to optimize quality of life for patients. She has received numerous honors and awards, including Resident of the Year and Outstanding Ambulatory Resident. Dr. Idrees is fluent in English, German, Urdu, Hindi and speaks basic French



Jennifer McCallister, MD, FACS; general surgery

Dr. Jennifer N. McCalliste is a surgeon with the Bristol Hospital Multi-Specialty Group and its Division of Breast and General Surgery. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and she received her medical degree from West Virginia University. She is board-certified in general surgery.


Joseph Noonan, MD, FRCP; psychiatry

Dr. Joseph Noonan is a board certified psychiatrist with Bristol Hospital Multi-Specialty Group.  He completed residencies at McGill University, Montreal General Hospital, Montreal Children’s Hospital, Douglas Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and St. Anne de Bellevue Veteran’s Hospital.


Shweta Upadhyay, MD; pulomonary medicine

Dr. Upadhyay specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine, and completed fellowships in pulmonary/critical care medicine and geriatric medicine from Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. She is board-certified in pulmonary medicine, internal medicine and geriatric medicine.
She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians.


Li Zhu, MD, PhD; family medicine, wound care

Dr. Zhu is a primary care physician specializing in family medicine and wound care.  She completed a fellowship from New York University School of Medicine in Ob/Gyn. She is board certified in family medicine and fluent in Chinese (mandarin).
