Heartworks Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

Heartworks, our cardiac rehabilitation program, is available for individuals who have heart disease, or who have a high risk for heart disease. These patients work with the cardiac rehabilitation team to reach the highest level of physical, social and emotional wellbeing compatible with their physical activity.

Cardiac rehabilitation is the process by which individuals who have a heart disease, or who have a high risk for heart disease, work with the cardiac rehabilitation team to reach the highest level of physical, social and emotional well being compatible with their physical ability.

The program is supervised by highly-skilled cardiac registered nurses. Your doctor and members of the cardiac rehabilitation team will develop an individually designed exercise prescription specifically for you. You will perform aerobic exercises on treadmills, bicycles and rowers as well as perform flexibility and stretching exercises before and after your exercise routine.
